Brides you might get rained on if you have a wedding in a park

The HSV Grange Limousine at the rear of Mulberry on Swan overlooking the Swan River which has three reception areas in Caversham in the Swan Valley.

Sarah and Michael held their wedding at Mulberry on Swan in Caversham on Saturday the Forth of October 2008 a long with at least 2 other weddings. They where meant to have the ceremony in the park on the grounds but as we were driving from Padbury where it was sunny to the Swan valley it started to pelt down. The bride to her credit only just held back the tears and rang the venue to find it was blowing a gail , so making the executive "I'm the bride" decision told them to move it into the reception area. Now lucky for her change of plans as if it had been a nice day she still would have had to move anyway. As it turns out the celebrant had got the times wrong and was 35 minutes late . To top that off if they had been able to continue on the park the was another wedding service on the park directly after them . So the rain and wind was a blessing in disguise. The wedding coordinator was just great at Mulberry on Swan.
So to those bride thinking of having an out door venue make very sure you have a very close by indoor back up venue. Better still don't take the chance as several years ago a bride i took to a rotunda at Kings Park had her day spoilt in January just after a heat wave with a thunder storm on the day that soaked every one with driving rain all day. I mean you can always do you photos in a park after but it is hard to change the ceremony venue at the last minute as the invite guests may be put off by the weather.
